LEGAL

ArtReveo Terms of Use

Effective September 15, 2026
Welcome to ArtReveo. These Terms of Use form a legally binding agreement governing your access to and use of ArtReveo, including artist accounts, paid artwork reveals, optional artist support, Purchase Inquiries, and related services. By accessing ArtReveo, creating an account, uploading artwork, purchasing a reveal, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use ArtReveo.

1. About ArtReveo

ArtReveo is an online platform that allows independent artists to make original artwork available through paid reveals.

Before a reveal is purchased, the actual artwork remains hidden. Visitors may see information supplied by the artist, such as the artist profile, description, mood, medium, and style.

ArtReveo is currently operated by an individual owner and is not represented as a corporation or limited liability company unless these Terms are later updated.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to create an artist account, connect a payment account, upload artwork, make purchases, or participate in financial transactions through ArtReveo.

3. Paid Artwork Reveals

Artwork offered through ArtReveo may remain completely hidden until a customer purchases a reveal.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, an artwork reveal costs $2.00.

A paid reveal provides access to view the applicable artwork through ArtReveo. It does not transfer ownership, copyright, reproduction rights, commercial rights, licensing rights, or other intellectual-property rights.

4. Refund Policy

All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law, payment-network rules, or where ArtReveo determines that a technical failure prevented the purchased reveal from being delivered.

Changing your mind, disliking the artwork after it is revealed, deciding that the artwork was not what you expected, or deciding that the reveal was not worth the purchase price does not create a right to a refund.

5. Artist Reveal Earnings

Artists may earn money when customers purchase reveals of their artwork.

After processing fees

After applicable payment-processing charges and other payment-provider fees are deducted, 60% of the remaining reveal revenue goes to the artist and 40% goes to ArtReveo.

Artists may be required to complete identity verification, banking information, tax information, or other requirements imposed by Stripe or another payment provider before receiving payouts.

6. Tips and Optional Support

Customers may have the option to provide voluntary financial support to an artist after revealing artwork.

ArtReveo takes 0% platform commission from optional artist support.

The artist receives 100% of the amount remaining after applicable payment-processing fees.

7. Artwork Sales and Purchase Inquiries

Customers may be able to send a Purchase Inquiry to an artist after revealing artwork.

A Purchase Inquiry does not constitute a sale, reservation, guarantee, offer, or binding agreement.

ArtReveo takes 0% commission from artwork sales arranged through Purchase Inquiries.

The artist and purchaser are responsible for agreeing on price, payment, shipping, insurance, taxes, authenticity, condition, returns, and other terms of the sale.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, ArtReveo is not the seller, purchaser, shipping provider, insurer, authenticator, escrow provider, or contracting party for such transactions.

8. Artist Ownership and Rights

Artists may upload only artwork they created and own, or artwork for which they possess all necessary legal rights and permissions.

By uploading artwork, the artist represents that:

Artists retain ownership of their artwork. Uploading artwork does not transfer copyright ownership to ArtReveo.

9. License Granted to ArtReveo

By uploading content, artists grant ArtReveo a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, display, transmit, and technically reproduce that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, promote, and provide the ArtReveo service.

This license does not transfer ownership of the artwork to ArtReveo.

10. Prohibited Artist Content

ArtReveo does not allow artwork containing:

Artwork that violates these rules may be removed. Repeated or serious violations may result in account suspension or termination.

11. AI-Generated Artwork

ArtReveo is intended to support human-created artwork.

Artists may not represent AI-generated or substantially AI-created material as eligible original artwork on ArtReveo.

ArtReveo may remove artwork or suspend accounts when it reasonably believes this requirement has been violated.

12. Artist Profiles and Information

Artists are responsible for keeping profile, payment, contact, artwork, and other account information accurate.

Artists may not impersonate another person, falsely claim artistic credentials, misrepresent ownership of artwork, or create accounts for fraudulent purposes.

13. Customer Conduct

Customers may not:

14. No Right to Download or Reproduce Artwork

Unless an artist separately grants permission, purchasing a reveal permits the customer to view the artwork through ArtReveo only.

A paid reveal does not grant permission to download, copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, mint, tokenize, train artificial-intelligence systems on, or commercially exploit the artwork.

15. Payment Processing

Payments may be processed through Stripe or other third-party payment providers.

Users may also be subject to the payment provider's own terms, verification requirements, and policies.

ArtReveo does not control banking delays, card-network decisions, payment-provider restrictions, or verification requirements imposed by independent payment providers.

16. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers agree not to initiate fraudulent or abusive chargebacks.

ArtReveo may suspend accounts associated with fraudulent payments, repeated abusive disputes, or attempted misuse of the payment system.

17. Taxes

Users are responsible for taxes applicable to their activities on ArtReveo unless applicable law requires ArtReveo or a payment provider to collect or report them.

Artists are responsible for understanding their own income-tax and reporting obligations.

ArtReveo does not provide tax, accounting, or legal advice.

18. Copyright Complaints

ArtReveo respects intellectual-property rights.

A rights holder who believes material on ArtReveo infringes their rights may contact ArtReveo through the Contact Us page and provide enough information to identify the copyrighted work, allegedly infringing material, location of the material, contact information, and the basis for the complaint.

ArtReveo may remove or disable access to disputed material while reviewing a complaint.

19. Content Removal

ArtReveo may remove, restrict, unpublish, or disable content when ArtReveo reasonably believes it violates these Terms, infringes another person's rights, creates legal or security risk, violates content standards, is fraudulent, or could harm ArtReveo or its users.

20. Account Suspension and Termination

ArtReveo may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, payment abuse, intellectual-property violations, prohibited content, security threats, or other serious misuse.

21. Platform Availability

ArtReveo may modify, update, suspend, discontinue, or temporarily interrupt some or all of the service.

ArtReveo does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

22. No Guarantee of Artist Earnings or Sales

ArtReveo does not guarantee that an artist will receive any particular number of reveals, amount of income, customer interest, Purchase Inquiry, artwork sale, audience size, or other financial result.

23. No Guarantee Regarding Artwork

Unless expressly stated otherwise, ArtReveo does not independently authenticate artwork or guarantee its market value, quality, provenance, originality, physical condition, merchantability, investment value, or suitability for a particular purpose.

Artists are responsible for representations they make concerning their artwork.

24. Third-Party Services

ArtReveo relies on third-party services that may include payment processors, hosting providers, email providers, storage providers, and other technology services.

ArtReveo is not responsible for outages, restrictions, errors, or policies imposed by independent third-party providers.

25. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ArtReveo and its services are provided "as is" and "as available."

ArtReveo disclaims warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law.

26. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ArtReveo and its owner will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the use of ArtReveo.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ArtReveo's total liability relating to a claim will not exceed the greater of the amount the user paid directly to ArtReveo during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or $100.

Nothing in this section limits liability where applicable law prohibits such a limitation.

27. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, users agree to indemnify and hold harmless ArtReveo and its owner from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and reasonable costs arising from violations of these Terms, uploaded content, infringement of another person's rights, unlawful conduct, or transactions arranged outside ArtReveo through Purchase Inquiries.

28. Changes to These Terms

ArtReveo may update these Terms as the platform develops. The effective date will be updated when material changes are made.

Continued use of ArtReveo after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.

29. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where federal law or other mandatory law applies.

Any dispute not required by applicable law to be heard elsewhere will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in North Carolina.

30. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain effective to the fullest extent permitted by law.
